A High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica

2019-10-18 12:12:20 | (0 Comments)

A Pressure Ridge will remain the significant feature today through to Sunday. Late Sunday evening through to Monday, a Tropical Wave is expected to move across the island.

A High Pressure Ridge means conditions will be mainly sunny with afternoon rains possible due to daytime heating.

In the Gulf of Mexico, Tropical Depression #16 is present and has high chance of becoming a Tropical Cyclone within the next 48 hours. This is not a threat to Jamaica
